Forged steel and yew wood stool or side table, the beautiful timber was supplied by Copford Sawmill, a local company that sources local timber. The steel frame and legs were forged by me and riveted the traditional way, no powertools were used on the metal.
It’s finished in a satin black powder-coating to last forever, the wood is sealed with an orange furniture oil.
Height is 50cm, width (or diameter) is 30cm.

Manufacturing time is roughly 0.5hr, including drawing the steel out to size, tapering, bending and forming.
